ALCOHOL POLICY

The Shrine on Airline and its concessionaire promote the responsible sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages. All guests purchasing alcohol must present a valid ID. No alcohol will be sold to intoxicated guests. Signage indicating these policies are displayed at the appropriate locations.

 

Guests passing alcohol to minors will be ejected and are subject to arrest. The Shrine on Airline and its concessionaire reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.

 

Remember, should you choose to drink, please do so responsibly and be considerate of other patrons.

 

No alcoholic beverages of any kind may be brought into the facility. Alcohol sales in all public areas of the stadium typically cease one hour prior to the end of the event. This policy is subject to change based on the event scope. Alcoholic beverages can continue to be provided in the suites during this period unless otherwise communicated by the Shrine on Airline or event promoter in advance of the event.

 

All alcoholic beverages are prohibited from leaving the facility.

ANIMALS

Animals are prohibited at the Shrine on Airline with the exception of service animals assisting ADA patrons.

BABY IN ARMS POLICY

Typically, children three years of age and under are FREE without a ticket. In these situations, a qualifying non-ticket-holder child may only sit on the lap of the guardian/companion and may not sit in another location. This policy is subject to change based on the event scope and is determined by the event promoter.

BAG POLICY

All bags are prohibited other than:

  • Clear vinyl bags no larger than 12”W x 12”H x 6”D
  • Gallon-sized, resealable, clear plastic storage bags
  • Clear small clutch purses no larger than 6.5”W x 4.5”H

BANNERS/SIGNS/FLAGS

Banners/Signs/Flags are generally allowed if they meet the following conditions:

  • They are in good taste
  • They are not deemed offensive
  • They do not include profanity
  • They do not obstruct the view of any guests or any existing Shrine on Airline signage
  • They do not present a safety hazard

Venue Management reserves the right to remove Banners/Signs/Flags at any time. Banners/Signs/Flags of a commercial nature are not permitted without specific permission from Venue Management. Please note these guidelines may change at any time due to event specifics, show management requests, etc.

BOX OFFICE

The Shrine on Airline has two box office locations typically available for clients to use, depending on event scope and requirements.

 

West Box Office (between Gate 2 and Gate 3)

South Box Office (between Gate 2 and Gate 3)

Satellite locations may be available based on the event scope.

CAMERA POLICY

All video cameras, tripods, lenses longer than 6” and all audio recorders of any kind are prohibited from entering the stadium unless approved in advance by promoter or facility management.

CATERING AND CONCESSIONS

Sodexo Live!, Shrine on Airline’s facility concessionaire, is available provide food, beverage and alcohol services. They have teamed up with local and national brands to bring a variety of choices to patrons. Concession stands and bar locations are conveniently located throughout the stadium on the Main Concourse Level.

 

Currently, all food & beverage transactions are cashless. Credit cards are accepted at all points of sale unless otherwise communicated by promoter or client.

DIRECTIONS

From Downtown New Orleans: Take I-10 West to Clearview Parkway South exit, turn right at Airline Drive (Hwy 61) and head west (right); stadium is on the left in three miles. OR Take Tulane Avenue and it turns into Airline Drive (Hwy 61) just after you pass under I-10. Continue on Airline Drive for about eight miles and just after the Transcontinental Drive intersection, you'll see the stadium on the left.

 

From Kenner and west of Kenner: Take I-10 East to Clearview Parkway South exit, turn right at Airline Drive and head west (right); stadium is on the left in three miles. OR Take Airline Drive (Hwy 61) East and just after the David Drive intersection, you'll see the stadium on the right.

DOOR OPENING

Entry gates for patrons typically open one hour prior to the start of the event, unless otherwise announced. This is subject to change based on the event scope.

DRONES

The possession, operation or use of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) or drone is prohibited on the Shrine on Airline property (including parking lots) without prior, written permission from management. Furthermore, persons operating a UAS on the Shrine on Airline property may be subject to criminal or civil penalties by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

ELEVATORS

The Shrine on Airline has one (1) passenger elevator and one (1) freight elevator.

 

For the convenience of our guests with accessibility challenges and suite patrons, the passenger elevator is located inside (and is accessible from) the main lobby at Gate 3 next to the Team Store. From the main concourse, it can be found near the stairwell landing behind Section 119.

 

The freight elevator is located near Section 115 off of the main concourse. Typically, this elevator services any freight (i.e. catering and housekeeping).

 

Media are typically asked to utilize the passenger elevator closest to Gate 3 in order to gain access to the press box located on the suite level of the stadium.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

The Shrine on Airline team and its promoters and clients work in conjunction with local first responders to ensure the safety of all guests and the facility is prepared for emergency situations. The facility is up-to-date regarding all appropriate life safety elements in accordance with appropriate regulations. 

 

Emergency exits are marked and only stairwells and appropriate ramp systems are to be used in any evacuation scenario. Emergency Exits are located by both pedestrian ramps and Stairwells 1 and 3, which are located on the West and South Side of the Stadium respectively. Elevators should not be used in the case of an evacuation.

 

Guests are always encouraged to “See Something/Say Something” and seek out the nearest team member or law enforcement officer for assistance in the case of emergency.

EVENT BOOKING

The Shrine on Airline has the flexibility and space to accommodate events small and large, from private parties to large-scale public events.

FAMILY RESTROOMS

Guests requesting Family Restrooms, baby changing stations and/or nursing mother stations should contact Guest Services for assistance.

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT

The Shrine on Airline emphasizes a high quality guest experience, regardless of event scope, size and type.

The Shrine on Airline Management and Staff are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all. Any conduct detrimental to the safe and proper operation of an event such as, but not limited to, abusive language, threats, assault, vandalism, theft and all other inappropriate actions will result in immediate eviction from the premises or arrest and prosecution as appropriate. Patrons are encouraged to report all such behavior to any Shrine on Airline team member.

The following behaviors or activities are causes for eviction from the Shrine on Airline: 

  • Use of profanity or unacceptable language of any type
  • Possession of illegal or unauthorized items 
  • Inappropriate or offensive attire
  • Public intoxication
  • Entering or attempting to enter any “off limit” area such as stage area, backstage, or restroom of the opposite sex
  • Fighting or instigating a physical or verbal altercation
  • Verbally abusing, threatening, or intimidating other patrons or building employees
  • Throwing objects of any type
  • Possession of stolen or counterfeit tickets
  • Possession of any unauthorized banners or signs
  • Attempted resale of tickets
  • Offensive language or obscene gestures, to include the use of such language or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault.

Any other conduct deemed inappropriate by Building Management will also result in eviction. If you witness a violation of any of these policies, please contact the nearest Guest Services or Security team member for assistance.

FIRST AID

Located on the main concourse area at Section 118. Medical services inside the stadium are typically provided by Acadian Ambulance.

 

Event scopes that include the use of the field/field level could have additional provisions/locations as deemed appropriate by Shrine on Airline and event promoter.

 

Should an incident occur, please contact the nearest Guest Services, Security team member or law enforcement officer for assistance.Trained medical personnel are available for all patrons should they need assistance.

GUEST SERVICES

Located on the main concourse across from Section 119 near the elevator. Our Guest Services team provides a one-stop shop location that provides solutions for customer service challenges or questions, ADA ticket issues, wheelchair requests, etc. If a patron has a question or wants to report a guest services incident during an event, patrons are encouraged to notify the nearest guest services team member or contact Guest Services at their location.

 

If a patron has a question or wants to report an incident (i.e. customer experience challenge or lost and found inquiry) on a non-event day, patrons may contact ASM Global at events@shrineonairline.com.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In the case of inclement weather, stadium management and promoter will provide updates whenever possible regarding event delays or cancellations. If inclement weather occurs during an event, it is subject to delay.

 

As a best practice, if there is a shelter in place scenario, patrons in the 100 level seating bowl are asked to gather in the main concourse under the overhang space. Patrons on the 200 level are asked to gather in this same location if possible. Suite patrons are asked to remain in place in the suites and out of the seating bowl.

 

Typically, both audio and visual elements are used if messaging updates are deemed appropriate for broadcasting to patrons. Team members on site will also provide updates as appropriate.

 

Please note, the decision to postpone an event due to weather is typically made close to the event's scheduled start time. Stadium management and event promoter officials pay close attention to the weather leading up to event time and make every effort to keep the field ready for play. Unless the weather prior to event/game time is particularly severe or the forecast reveals that inclement weather is inevitable, team officials/promoter will plan to play the game/conduct the event as scheduled unless otherwise noted.

 

Ticket refunds are not processed or approved on event day for any reason. If a patron has a challenge related to this during an event, they should proceed to Guest Services to discuss with the appropriate facility or promoter representative and to complete any appropriate documentation for consideration following the event.

LOST & FOUND

Lost and Found is located in Guest Services, which is located across from Section 119 near the elevator. Retrieval on event day will occur at this location or a designated location secured by law enforcement personnel. During an event, please contact the nearest Guest Services or Security team member for assistance or to report a lost/missing item.

LOST CHILDREN OR COMPANIONS

Children who have lost their parents will be escorted to the nearest police officer, ASM Global Public Safety Officer or to the closest Guest Services Desk. The child’s name will be registered and broadcast immediately to all Guest Services Desks, police, security, and usher personnel. Parents seeking a lost child should proceed to the nearest Guest Services Desk for assistance in locating their child.

 

The Guest Services office is located on the main concourse across from Section 119 near the elevator.

MERCHANDISE

For all NOLA Gold Rugby event days, the Team Store is open three hours prior to kickoff.  Forms of payment accepted for NOLA Gold Rugby events include American Express, MasterCard, Visa or cash (no checks).

PAGING

The Shrine on Airline stadium team and its promoters will utilize the public address paging service only in cases of extreme emergency. For emergency assistance, please report to the Guest Services Booth at Section 118 or notify the nearest Guest Services, Security or law enforcement officer.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION

Parking and Traffic operations (including hours of operation and location options) vary based on various factors such as event scope, estimated attendance, etc.

 

All parking policies and procedures will be communicated in advance via online platforms. Parking (including ADA) is always on a first come, first serve basis. All RV-type vehicles and trailers are prohibited unless otherwise noted by the Shrine on Airline and/or promoter communications.

 

JeT (Jefferson Transit) provides bus services via Airline Highway. Drop offs and pick-ups are subject to be changed based on traffic patterns and activities. Please check their website for schedules and days of operation.

POLICIES

To ensure that all Shrine and Airline events are safe and provide a high quality experience for all fans in attendance, the following rules and guidelines are displayed and enforced.

 

Proper behavior is expected from all of our guests. Foul/abusive language will not be tolerated and will be cause for ejection and/or arrest. Violators may also have their tickets revoked. Please notify the nearest guest services or safety/security representative immediately if actions of this type occur near you.

Entering the field at any time without authorization is a violation of stadium rules.  Offenders will be ejected and are subject to arrest and prosecution.

 

Throwing objects is a violation of stadium rules. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Shrine at Airline. This includes e-cigarettes and all similar mechanisms. Violators will be ejected and are subject to arrest and prosecution.

Keep aisles clear at all times; emergency situations require that stairways be kept clear. Guests sitting or standing in stadium aisles may jeopardize the safety of others.

Ticket holders are assigned one seat per ticket. Please do not sit in other seating locations without the proper tickets. Violators will be subject to ejection.

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, as well as the solicitation of signatures and autographs, are strictly prohibited on Shrine on Airline property without prior written authorization from stadium management. All items found to be in violation of this policy are subject to confiscation and will be destroyed.

 

All patrons are subject to search upon entry into the stadium. Patrons refusing to adhere to stadium search policies and procedures will be denied entry. 

Drunk and disorderly behavior as well as violation of any alcohol policy will not be tolerated. Violators will be ejected and are subject to arrest and prosecution.

 

Drones and any other flying objects are strictly prohibited. Violators will be ejected and are subject to arrest and prosecution.

All fans must comply with requests from the stadium staff regarding stadium policies and emergency response procedures. Be safe. Have fun! 

POOL

The pool and its surrounding area is currently closed. Any patron accessing this area is subject to arrest and prosecution for trespassing.

If any prohibited items are revealed during a search, the patron(s) will be permitted to return to their vehicle with the item(s) or they can dispose of the item(s). Facility and/or promoter staff will not store any personal belongings or items of any type.

PROMOTIONS

Typically, clients/promoters handle most or all aspects of promotions for a given event. This includes National Anthem performances, other entertainment elements, sponsorship/promotions activations, giveaways, etc.

RE-ENTRY POLICY

Re-entry is prohibited for all ticketed events at the stadium.

RESTROOMS

There are restrooms in marked locations throughout the main concourse on the 100 level.  All suites have adjacent restrooms available.

SCREENING PROCEDURES

To help to ensure a safe and secure environment, all guests entering Shrine on Airline on event day are subject to search. This includes the inspection of all bags, but could also include procedures utilizing walk through metal detectors or handwands of all persons. Patrons will be denied entry as appropriate.

 

All designated security staff will work diligently to expedite these processes while maintaining the safety and security of all guests and participants. If a patron presents event staff with an issue that requires a modified screening process, an appropriate alternative screening method will be offered.

SMOKING POLICY

The Shrine on Airline is a completely non-smoking facility. All guests are prohibited from smoking (including electronic cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products) inside of the stadium and outside of the stadium within the security perimeter at any time. Violators are subject to eviction, arrest and ticket forfeiture.

SOLICITATION

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, as well as the solicitation of signatures and autographs, is not permitted on Shrine on Airline property without prior, written authorization from Venue Management.

STOLEN TICKETS

Stolen tickets should be reported to law enforcement authorities. Upon the production of a theft report and an initial purchase receipt, the Shrine on Airline Box Office will make reasonable accommodations for replacement tickets.

STROLLERS

Umbrella style strollers are allowed provided they remain out of all aisles and walkways and do not impede any patrons access to their seating location or seat. Large strollers are prohibited and there is no check-in/valet service on site available for patrons.

SUITES

The Shrine on Airline has 16 premium suites including 2 VIP’s. All suites feature TV’s, bar set-ups and inner bowl seating with panoramic views of the stadium. Typically, suite patrons may remain in the stadium 30 minutes post event, but this is subject to change based on event scope. All alcohol must remain on the suite level for consumption.

 

For the convenience of suite patrons, Shrine on Airline has an elevator located adjacent to Gate 3 near the Team Store that provides service to the suite level. Elevator access is available upon gate opening for the event.

TAILGATING

To help ensure the safety of all of our guests, tailgating is prohibited in the parking lots and surrounding exterior property without advanced written consent from stadium management.

 

If tailgating is allowed in any capacity, use of cooking equipment is strictly prohibited.  All parking lanes and vehicle spots must be adhered to at all times.

 

The facility management team has the exclusive rights to shut down any/all tailgating activities at any time.

TICKETING

Ticket Sales are handled online for all Shrine on Airline events at this time. Any change to this policy to allow event day sales (or will call) are TBD and subject to change.

 

Ticket Relocation:

Patrons requesting a ticket relocation on gameday due to an unexpected situation or does not wish to be near a specific patron/service animal should proceed to Guest Services at Section 119 on the main concourse for assistance. The Shrine on Airline will work with event promoters to ensure a smooth communications process for any ticket-related challenges.

TICKET RESELLING/SCALPING

The resale or attempted reselling of tickets on Shrine on Airline property is prohibited by law. Violators will be removed from the premises and subject to arrest and prosecution as appropriate.These rules will be enforced for the protection of fans from the sale of stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise illegal tickets.

DUPLICATE TICKETS

Patrons with illegally duplicated tickets will not be allowed entry into the Shrine on Airline.

All refunds (if available/permitted) are done at the point of purchase location.

WEAPONS

All weapons and firearms are prohibited from entry into the Shrine on Airline. The only exception is active local law enforcement officials in a working capacity for the event and in uniform that are licensed to carry weapons.

WHEELCHAIRS

Wheelchairs are available for check-out at the Guest Services booth located on the main concourse near Section 119.

 

Wheelchairs are typically available on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be found at the Guest Services office. In order to check out a wheelchair, patrons must provide a valid driver’s license and must return it to this Guest Services immediately following the event.
